$68,995 Dakota Cash Jackpot and
$200,000 Powerball Prize Won

(Pierre) – While no one won the Powerball jackpot, a $200,000 Powerball prize and the $68,995 Dakota Cash jackpot were both won in South Dakota in last night’s drawings.

The Powerball ticket was sold in Sisseton and matched the five white balls, but not the red Powerball, to win the game’s second prize of $200,000.

The Dakota Cash ticket was sold in Rapid City and matched all five numbers to win the game’s $68,995 jackpot.

Norman Lingle, executive director of the Lottery, said the winners should sign the back of their ticket, put it in a safe place, and contact a Lottery office to make arrangements to claim their prize.

Lottery offices are located in Rapid City (394-5106), Pierre (773-5770) and Sioux Falls (367-5840). The winners have 180 days to claim their prizes.

Powerball is played in 28 states, the District of Columbia, and the U.S. Virgin Islands. The odds of winning the $200,000 second prize are 1:3,563,609.

Dakota Cash is played only in South Dakota. The odds of winning the jackpot are 1:324,632.
