$210,037 Dakota Cash Jackpot Ticket Expires Next Week

(Pierre) – A Dakota Cash lotto ticket worth $210,037 expires next week unless someone comes forward to claim the prize.

The ticket, sold in Huron, matched all five numbers in the September 30, 2006 drawing to win the jackpot. Thursday, March 29 is the last day to claim the prize at any of the three Lottery offices in Pierre, Sioux Falls or Rapid City.

The winning numbers for the Sept. 30, 2006 Dakota Cash drawing were: 08, 20, 21, 30, 33.

Lotto prizes must be claimed within 180 days of the drawing. If the prize goes unclaimed, state law requires the money go back to players by funding prizes in subsequent lottery games.

Only two Dakota Cash jackpot tickets have gone unclaimed in the game’s fourteen year history. A $52,775 jackpot from July, 2000 and half of a $206,156 split jackpot in November, 1993 went unclaimed.

The Dakota Cash game began on April 12, 1993. The odds of winning the jackpot are 1:324,632.
