Box Elder woman claims $20,000 Dakota Cash jackpot

(Pierre) – Kris Dulany of Box Elder claimed last Wednesday’s $20,000 Dakota Cash jackpot today at the Lottery redemption center in Rapid City.

Dulany discovered she was the winner when she checked the numbers on her computer late Friday night. Dulany, who buys one ticket for each lotto game for each drawing, said she had never considered herself to be a lucky person. “If I can win, anyone can win.”

Dulany is the 95th player to claim a Dakota Cash jackpot since the game began in 1993.

Dakota Cash is played only in South Dakota.  Players pick five numbers from 1 to 35. The numbers for July 20th drawing were 04-06-17-25 and 28.
