Dunes Man Claims $200,000 Powerball Prize;
Dakota Cash Jackpot Remains Unclaimed

(Pierre) –  One of two outstanding six-figure lottery prizes has been claimed.

Manoj Desai of Dunes has claimed the $200,000 Powerball prize he won in the October 6 drawing.

Desai claimed his prize late Tuesday afternoon at the Sioux Falls lottery office.  He purchased the ticket at the Pronto Convenience store in North Sioux City.  The store will receive a $10,000 bonus for selling the winning “quick pick” ticket.

Lottery officials are still waiting to award a $144,157 Dakota Cash jackpot to the lucky winner. A ticket sold in Sioux Falls matched all five numbers to win the game’s jackpot on October 27.

Lotto prizes must be claimed within 180 days of the drawing in which the prize was won.

The estimated jackpot prizes for tonight’s drawings are:

            Powerball - $51,000,000

            Hot Lotto - $5,840,000

            Wild Card 2 -- $105,000

            Dakota Cash - $20,000
