Crooks Woman Claims $200,000 Powerball Prize

(Pierre) –  One of two big Powerball prizes won in the past week has been claimed.

Debbie Lancto of Crooks today claimed the $200,000 Powerball prize she won by matching the five white balls, but not the red Powerball in the Wednesday, Oct. 10 drawing.

Lancto purchased her winning ticket at the Pump N Stuff in Crooks.  The store will receive a $10,000 bonus for selling the lucky “quick pick” ticket.

Another $200,000 Powerball winner has yet to come forward.  That winning ticket, sold in North Sioux City, won the game’s second prize in the Saturday, October 6 drawing.

Lotto prizes must be claimed within 180 days of the drawing in which the prize was won.
