(Pierre) – A lucky Powerball ticket sold
in Aberdeen is worth $200,000 following last night’s drawing. The
ticket was one of nine in the nation that matched the five white balls,
but not the red Powerball to win the game’s second prize.
The winning Powerball
numbers for the April 11, 2007 drawing were: 06, 15, 38, 42, 51, and
the Powerball was 18. The Power Play multiplier was 2.
Lottery director Norm Lingle said the
ticket holder should sign the back of the ticket immediately, put it in
a safe place, and contact the Lottery office in Sioux Falls
(605-367-5840) or Pierre (605-773-5770) to make arrangements to validate
the ticket and claim the prize.
The winner has 180 days to
claim the prize.
Because no one won the
jackpot Wednesday night, the estimated jackpot for the next Powerball
drawing on Saturday is $27 million.
Powerball is played in 29 states, the
District of Columbia and the U.S. Virgin Islands. The odds of winning
the jackpot are 1:146,107,962. The odds of winning the game’s second
prize are 1:3,563,609.
