Sioux Falls man claims $200,000 Powerball Prize

(Pierre) – Bob Sobraske of Sioux Falls is the winner of the $200,000 Powerball prize in Saturday night’s drawing. His ticket matched the five white ball numbers, but not the red Powerball, to win the game’s second prize.

Sobraske checked his tickets after the numbers were announced on television following the drawing Saturday night. “I just froze when I saw that five of my numbers matched,” he said. “Everybody was in shock.”

Sobraske claimed the prize today at the Sioux Falls Lottery office. He and his wife Brenda plan to use some of their winnings for college funds for their two sons.

The winning “quick pick” ticket was sold at the Holiday Station Store on North Cliff Avenue in Sioux Falls. The store will receive a $10,000 bonus for selling the ticket.
