Lottery’s latest winners headed to Las Vegas
Record Hot Lotto jackpot continues to grow

(Pierre) – The four latest lottery winners, and their guests, are headed to fabulous Las Vegas!

Julie Pigors of Groton, Michael Trudeau of Sioux Falls, Leona Schuldt of Mitchell, and Mark Rudebusch of Rapid City each won a Las Vegas trip package in the Lottery’s recent Viva Hot Vegas promotion.

Each of the winners receives airfare for two to Las Vegas, hotel accommodations on the strip for three nights, limousine service, and $1,000 cash.

During October, Hot Lotto players could send their non-winning $5 tickets to the Lottery for a second-chance drawing to win one of the Las Vegas trip packages.

The Viva Hot Vegas drawing was held November 9, 2006. The four winners were drawn from a total of 6,341 entries.

Hot Lotto’s record jackpot continues to grow. The estimated jackpot for Wednesday’s drawing is $13.5 million, making it the biggest in the game’s history.

The game is currently played in ten lotteries: South Dakota, North Dakota, Montana, Minnesota, Iowa, Kansas, West Virginia, New Hampshire, New Mexico, and the District of Columbia. The odds of winning the jackpot are 1:10,939,383.
